The poor kid got brought on to boo's from LFC fans from what I could here and angered looks on the faces of his team mates including his captain. this is a young kid trying to crack it in one of the biggest teams in the world and what is that going to do to his confidence. Its hard enough trying to come on to replace the best striker in the world when ure team needs a goal, let alone when your team mates and your fans dont even want you on the pitch, his confidence was shattered before he kicked a ball and that showed in the way he played in those last few minutes... We might have got a goal if the team had shown some enthusiasm to the substitution rather then giving him the glum looks they did...

I don't think bashing Ngog is fair or relevant, he created more space and chances for us than anyother player today, YES he ain't good enough yet, maybe never will be, who knows yet, but for the time he was on the pitch he put some effort in, and that's more than some of our squad today....including Torres.
But for the record....I still think taking Torres off in a must win game is A ****ING CRAZY DECISION!
CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP CLAPCLAPCLAPCLAP DALGLISH!

I think David is clever enough to know that any boos by Liverpool fans and bemused looks by his team mates were directed towards the manager, not him. It was a must win game and the manager has taken of the teams best striker.
I am long passed trying to vindicate Rafa's decisions. I should I would judge him at the end of the season and not before, and that stands. But it is looking increasingly like we will finish out of the top 4, and as such I know what I will be asking for at the end of the season.
I only wish Rafa would make the decision harder by delivering something that shows he is the man to take us forward. Something like an attacking line up that so easily swept aside Sunderland.
I have to say the man is living on borrowed time.Forwards.......
