Ngog not Ngoo (he's the big lad in the U18s)

Ngog was rusty, when was the last time he played for any significant amount of time? he should be with reserves keeping fit and banging the goals in so that when he's called for he's not working off the rust on the pitch.

But it's a poor state of affairs when you have to bring an inexperienced kid on, that is down to Rafa for buying dross like Voronin and then shipping out Keane and not buying a proper replacement.
    We come not to play.

Should be loaned out to a premier league club next season who will guarantee us that he'll start around 70% of the games atleast when fit.

He can be useful for us. Need to muscle up a bit and work on his finishing

Penalty asdie, they may have been booing the decision by Rafa.
I doubt LFC fans would have booed Ngog.

Torres did **** all whole game and he seemed to be off the pace throughout. He was subbed and we played better, end of. Had Ngog converted one of his chances people would have been saying that it was a tactical masterstroke. It's a game of fine margins.

He did **** all because once again because he was isolated. We're like a junior team who puts their best player up front, knocks it long for him and hopes he can win the game for us.

i think you guys are missing the point.. what i was trying to say is that subbing ngo'g on was only going to shatter his confidence, even if Gerrard's look of disdain wasnt directed at the young fella it still is showing just what they think of bringing him on for torres... His confidence would have been shot by the time he was on the pitch and if it was in different circumstances we might have won 3-1

Torres on the other hand felt great about it...

Eh? And why when Ngog came on he seemed to find a lot of space and chances?

Have to agree with Fredo. We looked so much more likely to win after N'Gog came on for Torres, he just fluffed all his chances. Although Torres probably would have taken one or more of those chances in his place, we probably wouldn't have made them with an exhausted Torres still on the field.
