I wish we still had Garcia, Hamman, Hyypia, Riise and Alonso or comparable players anyway. Okay we have Mascherano instead of Hamman and possibly Benayoun as a replacement for Garcia. I know we had some poor players in the squad back then, but we have some now.

Both poor players in my opinion, well poor might be a bit strong but neither were good enough on a consistant basis.
Don't get me wrong Garcia scored some vital goals but he was also hugely frustrating for 95% of his time with us.
When you think that he was in the Spain National side while he was here but doesn't even play regularly at club level anymore it shows how much Rafa got out of him
