Indeed just hope we turn up for the away games. Who else do we have left away? I know HUll City is one.

Thing is, if we scrape into the CL I'm not sure it will do anything other than delay the financial problems brewing. Like it or not, we're gonna have to face them some time.

Man City play Spurs on the last day at home and a relegation flirting West Ham away the week before that.

Hope we can make it. It's not in our hands but we should be able to be there and capitalise on their mistakes

Fourth is more important for us, we need to be competing in the major competitions. I'll raise a smile if we win the Europa Cup, but I'll be ecstatic if we get into the Champions League in spite of our ****e season. If another team get into the top four this season then I think we'll struggle to get back there, if we manage to achieve a top four place then that puts more pressure on the teams expecting to be in that position (mainly Man City).

I think 4th place is beyond us, but I really want to watch Champs league footy next year, but would,nt it be good to be the only English team to win a Euro trophy.

You've summed it up for me In a nutshell. If it was only us and 1 other team I may fancy it but as you say we need 2 teams to stuff up and that won't happen IMO.

The thing is though is we need the prestige of the CL to attract signings. Players will hardly be drawn by the fact we won the EUROPA league will they! I won't complain when we win it though but 4th is more important long term IMO.
