Torres' goal scoring stats has been discussed over and over of course, but a friend of mine stated before the Benfica game that he had scored 40 in 41 games at Anfield, and if that's true he has now 42 in 42. Can anyone confirm this, or is there a good web site anywhere with these kind of stats? Soccernet and BBC don't break it down in home and away.

Didnt he also break or equalled a recored for successive hat-tricks in his first season?Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI think it is 42 in 42. He's also broken the record for scoring successive braces at Anfield - that's four on the trot now.

Know what you mean...but i think with a season as bad as this...a lot of the good gets pushed to the back of your mind...all you can see and remember is the despair.Originally posted by wiw View PostNot quite sure how he's done it this season. I really can't remember him trapping a ball, really going past someone or completing a successful pass all season. He just pops up with goals somehow
Although obviously for most of this season he's been a shadow of the player we know he is, due to injury..stop start.Last edited by Vermilion; 10-04-10, 10:17 AM.
