The chance Babel has had in the run of recent games shows he seems to have developed a slightly better work ethic. But he seems to have lost any form of threat. Previously I though he could come on and do something, now I know he won't do anything. In fainess he worked hard last night be it wasn't a gret performance.
For me he's still at his best as an impact player coming off the bench against players with tired legs. He's usually ineffective when he starts games. And after 3 years here that's not enough, he's not good enough. The only reason I consider keeping him is beacuse we seriously lack other options.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

as i've already said, he is the only player outside torres who gives the crowd a real buzz when he gets on the ball.
