Give me a player any day who contributes consistently to the team rather than a flash-in-the-pan player like Garcia who does SFA for 5 games and then scores the odd goal. Predictably, Garcia was United's best player yesterday - the fairy has a phobia when it comes to maintaining possession.

Don't mean to be abrasive, I just really can't stand Garcia as a player. He does my head in watching him week in week out for the Reds.

Its ok playing him at home, but away from home Luis is too much of a risk. Gives it away far too much and tries flicks and tricks when he shoud retain possession.

Predictably, someone was going to mention his occasional wonder goal in the 2005 CL campaign. Sure, maybe another player wouldn't have scored the goal he scored against Juventus but equally another player wouldn't have been guilty of all the fluffed easy chances, sloppy passing and constant loss of possession throughout the entire CL campaign. He frustrates much more than he delights, it must be a ratio of like 9-1.

Funny how we had such a great season in the Premiership last season when Garcia was used sparingly and Crouch figured regularly...

that was my favourite passage of play as it was preceded by steven gerrard gettign muscled off the ball by hatchet man ryan giggs.

                    really made my day

Yes, he was **** yesterday. Problem is nobody will ever get his flicks because nobody ever runs on to support him anyway especially in our current situation.

Should be played in European and home games. Is one of our few players who has the quality to draw defenders out of position and make things happen. A major reason as to why we won number 5. Would be stupid to sell him.

i don't agrre with you mate, most of the chances he gets he creates by himself, and no one in our team can creat as many chances for him self and others as garcia, he seems to work well when he plays as a second striker...

i'm biased and i know it i love him to bits...
