There's only one possible (realistic) positive to come out of this - hopefully the spineless ****s that took the field last season will have a new lease of life next season and actually ****ing show some passion.
The unrealistic potential positive is the notion that new owners are imminent and wanted Rafa gone before they take control. Highly unlikely though.

well i shudder to think who will replace him. if we wind up better then fair enough. i doubt it though. it's probably time he left, but not in this climate. otherwise, yes. he had to go eventually, but i still love him no matter where he winds up.Originally posted by red g View Postdave i love hime to, but in the cold light of day........I do actually think we may, just may be better in the long run.

If Gerrard now stays and rediscovers his best from next season and pulls us through games like in the past it'll have been a more than decent day. the sun is shining, my new phone is working, I left work on time, the hot posh bit from 3 doors down stopped me for a chat, I've been home and had a glorious wank on the back of said chat and now have only my tea to cook before the wife gets home and perhaps a bit of hows your father. Great day.Originally posted by kingfunk View PostHe doesnt look too depressed!
