No, he is in Asia. If he was in Europe, he could get to Liverpool pretty easily.

put it this way, that might make the club a less attractive proposition for any buyers, hit hicks and gillett directly in the pocket....this might prompt a reaction....

for this reason, i am not renewing my season ticket next year

i know that it will go onto the next person....but if the SOS group was serious, then this is something that they would try to do....... if 20,000 people did the same thing, then maybe this would prompt other people not to buy them when they came up in the queue......

imagine the kop or centenary half empty for big games next year...... the media publicity for the campaign would go through the roof......

i know it is far fetched but only something like this is going to get the attention.... does anyone really think that these 2 fat americans care about how many scousers march up and down the streets of anfield?!?!? they're businessmen - they only care about money and our club is going to remain a cash-cow to them unless we make it as near as impossible as possible for them to remain owners of the club. The only way we can do that is by hitting them in their pockets......

the Spirit of Shanks??? load of bollox - shankley actually ended up hanging round the everton training ground...... maybe we should start going to goodison in our red jerseys and just cheer for the opposition as a form of protest?!?!?

as much as it would be amazing to see the kop empty it will never happen, if you dont buy a season ticket then its simple, somebody else will. if you dont buy tickets for matchdays then somebody else will. the insane levels of demand makes it too hard

edit: just realised that is basically what you said...

surely an effective campaign means that not only those who have tickets dont buy them but the waiting list dont either.

but making the campaign which is that effective is so difficult. i think you would find that the season ticket holders tend to be immersed in the club and know these details about the owners, but think about some guy who just wants a season ticket pass to patch football for a season, i know i plan to do that myself holidaying in england, and i would dare say that even if i knew about this it would be difficult to throw up the opportunity to miss out... meaning that it is hard to not sell tickets

it can be done it woul be difficult yes but needs a concerted effort.

or how about total silence when going to anfield?

away fans would shame us and the team would perform worse, not so sure that affecting our own players is a good idea

Leaving the waiting list would be a good idea if enough people did it.

I don't think you'll ever stop people from going to the games, but how about not buying any club merchandise or anything from the club (in or around the ground) or any official merchandise, no programme, no food or drinks, no golden goal tickets, don't use the betting shops in the ground etc on match days. No new shirts etc. This would hit them hard in the pocket, and all they care about is money
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

All the fans should turn up for matches in black clothing, make no noise and turn their backs to pitch if Hicks/Gillette/Purslow/Broughton arrive.

No sound, no colour, no atmosphere (and no cracks about thats how it is anyway!)
                              'and boy could he play!.
