Whoever is doing it clearly doesn't understand the American culture/mentality in relation to the flag. All this will do is shock american sports fans and damage our name there.

I agree mate it will just work against us. I myself have american so know myself the relation to the flag. The person who decided this was a good idea to burn the flag have let emotion get in the way of what is needed. But being scouse i can relate to that emotion.

Burning the US flag is small minded IMO. We have thousands of american fans like yourself. We all know this is anti H&G but alot of people will see this as Anti American which it is not. SOS need to have a word with regards to burning that flag as thats just damaged thier rep IMO

Thing is mate the fans at Anfield are scousers and LFC is in our Blood and part of who we are as scousers so to have two americans come in are rape the club which they have no right to own in the first place and should never have is OTT. Being a scouser myself LFC is not just a club but part of our identity and a representation of where we are from.

I dont know if your scouse yourself mate but i am and as much as i don't condone the flag burning i can understand their feelings. LFC is not just a club who we support it is a way of life to the scouse fans.
