Todays press conference will set the tone for his timke at Liverpool. Hodgson needs to come out today and tell us that he intends to immediately challenge for honours. Our squad is pretty decent and we just needed a new man to get more out of them. He's here now so he needs to show some real optimism today and ambition when he goes before the media. But If he comes across in anyway negative or dull then its going to be a long long long seasonComment

Any fan of Updike, Roth and Bellow is good enough for me. Time to get aboard the Hodgson train methinks (choo choo).
Having said that though being a fan of Bellow, Roth and Updike myself then surely I should have been in with a shout. I guess it's the lack of success in Sweden that let me down (although I once dropped the hand in some swedish tart while camping in France if that counts).
I'm coming round to the idea though and I think he may very well do alright. A couple of decent signings and I think next we could be right up there.
