Where do you think LFC will finish next season?

Bascially, there will be a poll with this thread. Select where you think right at this time where you think LFC will finish next term, barring a takeover.

Obviously there are things that could effect your decision in future. If Torres left for £25m people would obviously lower their expectations. But I guess it's down to you to decide if the new man coming in can convince the star players to stay, and make a choice based on that.

Thread is purely to laugh at each other in the future and also of course see the general mood on Est.

think it all will depend on how quick we get sold and who to...if we dont get sold soon and with woy as manager and no money and the worry of losing stevie and torres..i dread to think

Dread to think Brad as the only thing this is dependant on is a takeover not happening.

5th i reckon, we need better players and with the yanks in charge i doubt we'll have the cash available.

          1. Chelsea
          2. Manchester City
          3. Manchester United
          4. Arsenal
          5. Liverpool or Tottenham

That's my prediction. Tottenham's CL campaign might favour us in our quest to finish above them in the league.

Us / Arsenal and City with be fighting it out for 4th I reckon. But I doubt we'll make it and will be looking at a Europa spot.

Unless we get a budget that is, then things could change.

Even if the nightmare happens and we flog Torres, if the money goes to Roy to buy 2 strikers to replace him with rather than to the ******s we should be more consistent even if not as spectatcular then a top 4 could be on the cards.

Don't even know if it's so much a nigtmare as a necessary reality anymore TBH. Depressing, but necessary.

Realistically 5th or 6th if there is no significant changes with the current squad.

I believe we have Top 4 talent; if we can focus on the pitch, we could end up in the Top 4... if we add some missing pieces and shore up the defense, I think we can be Top 4 for sure. Arsenal are set to lose Fabregas, City is just okay and Spurs hit above their class last year-- can't see everything going wrong for us again on the pitch... if the Manager can keep the team focused on results, we are in a good position to do some damage. we'll see.

I wish I could share your enthusiasm.

Without proper depth (new decent signings and keeping the team skeleton intact) getting in top 4 is extremely doubtful if not impossible. Too many things would need to fall into its place (including overabundance of luck) for miracle to happen.

Now it looks like Hodgson I would say mid table.
It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

At best IMO. Again depending on who leaves. Not holding much hope of the wanks investing TBH.

                        10th........maybe 9th if we're lucky.

From what Hodgson achieved at Fulham, why would he do worse with our squad? If he takes apositive approach and attacks smaller teams he should do ok. I think we'll just fall short of 4th place.

Assuming Torres stays injury free, and Gerrard refinds some form, i reckon top four...assuming both players are still at the club.
