No I would keep him on and give him a fair chance to show what he can do. He has just been appointed and that is no way to treat a person if you sack him straight away.

I would give him at least a full season to prove himself and take it from there.

Sack him, then hire fergiescum at any cost, promise him the known world and as much gold as he could eat and even get the neville sisters in as his assistants

Then when they arrive at Melwood for the first training session introduce them to the man they'll be working for , the new director of football, Rafa Benitez

Then after the first session get Kenny to phone Real Madrid with an offer they cannot refuse as we will need a new manager urgently as the latest one had a fit of pique and resigned in a huff a broken man.
