          completely go with this.

i'd be happier to see kuyt win this for holland than i would torres or xabi for spain.

not saying i prefer him or anything but he is a top class bloke and a key player for us always giving his all.

they've got a euros medal so i'd happily see him get this.

massive, massive match for spain this. if they play to their capabilities, they could be considered alongside brazil of 1970. if they dont. well, they're just another decent generation of an international side arent they.

the dutch dont really have that much to lose. and i think if they play with freedom, will come out on top.

Spain are a much better side. The dutch have been very lucky to date (own goals, deflected goals, silly red cards etc). For that reason, I'd like to see Spain win it. They deserve it more.

            Sorry Dirk.

The Dutch haven't lost a single match in the WC qualifiers / or finals at all I heard the other day

This misconception that his first touch is poor is bollocks in my opinion. You'd first have to question the type of ball which is generally played to the forwards, if it's a hoof over the midfield which requires time to control then I'd blame the quality of the initial "pass" not the recipient. Our strikers have had **** service and deserve better. We need players who can play neat balls to feet where the momentum of an attack can surprise the opposition. Not stupid lobbed balls which nobody would appreciate.

I’ve stopped wasting time even arguing with people about this anymore. When something said enough times it’s irrelevant what happens on the pitch for some.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
