What's that, a fulham player said it so it must be true ? well yes, more true than a player who's already had a dig at his old manger saying they trained without a ball, who's trying to justify his lack of games by blaming his old managers deficiencies rather than his own.
Zoltan Gera says the secret to the success of Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is his boring training sessions!

The Hungary midfielder has given an insight into Hodgson's management.

He said: “The training can sometimes be boring but we know it works. If I wake up in the middle of the night, I know where I should be running in the games!

“But you are professional and you have to do it.

“Roy is very important for the club and you’ve seen how successful he has been last season and this season.

“We prepare in the same way before every game, whether it is Accrington Stanley or Juventus.”
Striker Clint Dempsey added: “I have worked with great coaches in America like Steve Nicol and Paul Mariner but in Europe, Roy is the best.”

sometimes boring.....and if you read the articlwe its harldy a yossi type damning is it?

Well it actually saying the same kind of thing, just more politely phrased with more class than Yossi has shown.

Well he is'nt holding a grudge against his manager like Yossi is. But boring is what he said.

Oh and this is hilarious.... 'Striker Clint Dempsey added:“I have worked with great coaches in America like Steve Nicol and Paul Mariner but in Europe, Roy is the best.” That is stretching it.....just a tad ?.

Oh, and did i mention....Ray Wilkins is a little prick! An anti Liverpool/Rafa Chav who's taken so many beatings in his career by LFC it still hurts.

I doubt Wilkins has too much of a grudge towards LFC tbh. I doubt he cares as much as you seem to think. Probably stating it more to try and prick the interest of Torres.
          Forwards.......

For some reason, never liked Benayoun. As I am sure has been mentioned, if he left because of RB why didn't he wait to see who replaced him? I hope he has a sh1t season at SB.

There's no need for that. What have I done to you then ?

It's been revealed that the Yossi statement about not using a ball in training has been clarified, and there was indeed a ball, lots of them....it's just that Yossi was unable to get anywhere near any of them.

and perhaps Yossi should have stuck around to see what Roy has to offer...

I think yossi was a good professional and a good servant to our club. Yossi is exactly the sort of person to give an honest account of his experience of rafa. The views of senior untouchable or undroppable players is largely irrelevant as their names would have been always on the team sheet. It's players like yossi that i want to here from now and it doesn't sound good. Nor does it sound like sour grapes.

Although the manner of rafa'a departure was handled all wrong I am certain that his time was up.

I think with a modicum of shrewd transfer activity from roy that we will now see a massive improvement in our league form from last season.
