Would be nice to hear some committal words now that the the WC is over all the same...............at last it'll give us, as fans, something solid to take on board, in spite of how it may turn out.

Worst case scenario now, is that the ******s would accept a much lower bid than the numbers being bandied around, purely on the basis of his fitness concerns. Nothing should happen this year anyway (assuming any interested parties have some sense), but given how the club is being ran nowadays............................

That's how i see it too. He was in the dressing room for some of those pics, it would've been piss easy to put the scarf out of sight, if he was conscious about not wanting it to be pictured with him.

It's as positive a sign as we've had to far without him publicly stating he wants to stay.

Love the guy...He never forgot us on the greatest night of his life.

Yeah, i know what you mean. But there's absolutely no logic in putting the scarf over himself for the pictures, if he wants out.

Some of those pics were taken in the dressing room - not the most difficult place to find somewhere to just put the scarf, out of sight, if necessary.

He deliberately chose not to put it down though. Has to mean something.

The Gerrard comparison might be a little off, IMO because he pinpointed that he only wanted to leave because LFC were pissing about and officials going on holiday instead of getting his new contract signed up - and this made him feel like the club preferred to take the transfer fee rather than wanted to keep him. I dont think anyone, not even the most stupid person known to man, could possibly state with any logic that LFC would want to sell Torres.

I would agree that it is a definite message to us that he doesn't intend to leave as it is a very strong gesture, as his team mates might not have been so keen on him wearing it - imagine if England won the world cup and a player that played in Italy wore an Italian team's scarf?

I thought it looked fishy at first, but having seen the other one and the first one on the host website amongs the other photos, it does look kosher, thank God.
