I hope we don't play any of the players that haven't featured in friendlies yet as they can't be near ready!
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

At this rate, it could well be Insua.

Should be able to get a link off here on the day of the match..

Ngog and Babel have a big chance to shine here, if they both get an opportunity.... More so for Babel, now Joe Cole has come in..

I think this will be his last season in a Red shirt otherwise.

****ing piss take this is on ppw.Think I'll watch Shamrock Rovers v Juventus instead.Team selection wise I'd play Gerrard reluctantly just because I don't trust Spearing,if Insua isn't staying I'd play Darby as there's no one else to put there.I like what I've seen of Eccelston so I'd play him on the right of the attack.

                Cavilieri

                Kelly Krygiakos Ayala Insua

                Gerrard Lucas Aquilani

                Eccelston N'gog Jovanovic

                  --Kelly-----Soto-----Ayala-----Darby
                  ------Spearing--------Lucas

                  ------------Ngog
Yeah mate i reckon this is most likely line up, hopefully scrape a win or get a draw and have much stronger team back home

What did Cole play in the WC? 20 minutes?

Kuyt should be playing with his superhuman endurance

Just reading jovanovic sees his best position as left mid.

With Kuyt and jov on each side we could get easily get 20 goals from wide areas this year

Liverpool have landed in Macedonia ahead of the Europa League third qualifying round clash against FK Rabotnicki without any of their England internationals as Roy Hodgson puts his faith in the Reds' starlets.

The likes of Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Glen Johnson and Joe Cole have remained as Melwood as they continue to ease their way back into the groove following the World Cup.

Instead, youngsters such as Jonjo Shelvey, Nathan Eccleston, Martin Hansen, Peter Gulacsi, David Amoo, Lauri Dalla Valle and Tom Ince have been included in the 20-man travelling party.

However, Martin Skrtel, Daniel Agger and Sotirios Kyrgiakos were amongst the squad that departed from John Lennon airport this morning - as were new boys Milan Jovanovic and Danny Wilson - as the Reds prepare to kick off the 2010-11 season.

Liverpool squad: Cavalieri, Aquilani, Agger, Jovanovic, Kyrgiakos, Lucas, Wilson, Ngog, Spearing, Darby, Shelvey, Kelly, Skrtel, Eccleston, Ayala, Hansen, Gulacsi, Amoo, Dalla Valle, Ince.
                          RIP IRWT post/rant, best ever

                              No Insua.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
