Awwwwww, this could be amazing. Remember when Chelsea were dead skint and the only signing they could make was Jurgen Macho...then boom, Abramovich arrived and they bought big and huge? That could be us soon.

Deep breath, calm down. It hasn't happened yet.

Lahm would be top. We already have marquee players up front and in midfield, but if I had to choose a noveau riche signing, I'd go for Kaka. He'd come to Liverpool.

Sorry, we’ve only ever had one mug competition and some freak called Fredo won. Ah, wait… That’s you isn’t it?

Funny you should ask, I bought myself a sledgehammer about a month ago. Problem was, I didn't have anything to break… Until I found a little box that was supposed to be sent to Mauritius. The money saved on the postage probably paid for my new hammer, thanks Frodo.

That'll be me on that list.....
I bet you're still picking those splinters out..

You did constantly slate Rafa for his negative gameplay and tactics to be fair Craig.... as did I and most... and Mourinho was often touted as a suitable replacement...

and as great a night as it was, I'm still of the belief that he won that with Houillier's signings... bar one or two....

Yes i did. And when it became clear that we couldnt get a better manager, i decided that i'd rather keep the superior Benitez.

I dont see what's so 'fence-sitting' about that.

I'm touched that you were going to post something based around me.

                    I'll send you an autograph

It wasn't wholly negative. Being a long time lurker, I was struck by the stoical anti Rafa sentiment, then the Rafa championeering post sacking / mutual termination. I reckon you had a wake up call in the circumstances and realised we would struggle to get someone of that stature again in the current situation. You didn't like the means to the end, granted.

Yeah send it in the post. Collecting the autographs of internet warriors is a secret obsession.

Yup was amazing for Liverpool F.C. and that was also over 5 years ago. Not gonna get into the Rafa saga, he failed now. Roy is here and he's trying to rebuild. I would lose faith in football if Rafa ever came back which is in itself a ridiculous notion. Anyways Rafa manages somebody elses and i personally don't wanna talk about him, never mind him coming back as its very disrespectful to our current manager who seems to be doing a great job so far.

I just disagree with the implied notion that we were never enjoyable to watch under Rafa.

Even as recently as Spring 2009, we were playing the best football in the country under Rafa.

We had some great times under Rafa... Mancs and Europe etc but when it really counted, the decisions were mind boggling...

Remember Fulham at Home, Brum away, even Stoke and Villa away..
                            You iz avin a laff..

You've basically just taken what i said in the previous post, and slightly elongated it, to make the same point, with a lengthier post.
