Trabzon is supposed to be a really nice city if nothing else.

"Song walked on to the training pitch with a smile on his face. He was limping off it with a grimace an hour later. The first chance I got, I did him. Never have I hunted down a 50–50 tackle with greater appetite. 'You're not ****ing laughing now, are you, you soft cunt?

It just seems such a long slog to get to the 1/4 Finals were it starts getting competitive. Imagine if we only had the leauge to worry about. Fresher players and fresher legs

Not sure about the town, but it's a prick of a trip to get there. Multiple flights. I've flown into there once and the airport's a ****ing tin shed. The only other non-turks there were a bunch of bible-bashers on the way to look for Noah's Ark

i know what you mean, but we do have to get a good run in europe together for the coeificent thing, and it could amount in a decent earning.

one or two younger players should get the chance to play in these games though, and give some players a bit of a rest, which we probably wouldn't do in the CL, or at least wouldn't get away with it..

I suppose, we should be looking with a view to next season. I think the Euro-Disney Leauge Shield will be good to blood some players that are coming through, but are in need of some big European games.

Plus, if we win it, ill be out in the streets celebrating like a mad man!

Liverpool's Europa League play-off tie against Trabzonspor on August 19 will be a special family night at Anfield with supporters encouraged to bring younger members of their family to the game for just £5 each.

Tickets for adults will also be reduced in price to £10 each (over 65s £7.50) with accompanying kids costing £5.

The game against the Turkish side will be the final evening match of the school summer holidays and with the nights still light, it's the perfect chance to introduce the next generation of young Reds to the sights and sounds of a European night at Anfield.

Full selling arrangements and kick-off times will be confirmed shortly. The return leg will take place at the Huseyin Avni Aker Stadium on August 26.
