In fairness it's not just Warnock who still goes on about this, all Sheffield United fans do. My best mate's a Sheffield United fan and he's still bitter about the team we put out against Fulham as are, he assures me, all his mates.

I pointed out to him that a team that loses more than half its league games in a season really doesn't deserve to be in the top flight, but he just won't have it and insists they were doomed to relegation by our team selection

          Nothing but a moaning cunt.

Hopefully a bad refereing decision one day might get him angry enough to give him a coronary.

He moans and moans about this sort of thing but they deserved to go down as they didn't win enough games or get enough points to stay up - I am strong believer in you finish where you deserve after 38 games - Mr Warnock you finished in the bottom 3 get over it!
But they would have done had we tried against Fulham. It's fine margins.

This was the team that played that day:

Aside from Insua and Palletta, that was hardly a team of reserves. He really should just shut the **** up now.

Someone really needs to collar the cunt over this and address it once and for all. Read the ****ing team out, go through them.

                  Reina - nuff said FFS
Arbeloa - Real Madrid and Spain defender
                  Hyypia - legend FFS
Paletta - reserve, now plying his trade in Serie A
                  Insua - reserve, Argentinian international
                  Pennant - wank
Alonso - Alonso FFS, nuff said
Sissoko - certainly not a reserve
                  Gonzalez - ditto
                  Fowler - FOWLER
Bellamy - nuff ****ing said WARNOCK, you bitter cunt.

Best thing to do in football is worry about your own side and not what other teams are doing.

We put out a weakened side granted but that doesn't mean that they should look at it like they've been done a dis-service we did what was best for us at the time not for Shef Utd - they should have got more points through their own industry!

Essentially they went down as they weren't good enough not because we didn't beat Fulham!

Let him bleat and moan, just shows him up as the bitter man he is. Hope it continues to annoy him for the rest of his days.

IMO we did pick a slightly weakened team but so what?!

If we'd beaten Fulham, then they would have been good enough. Strange world.

I don't think they have cause to complain about us, just because we were the last game, but I also don't believe you always get what you deserve over the course of the season.

There's no issue about 'if they had beaten them' though, at the end of the day, you cant 'rely' on other results and then claim foul if they dont happen.

To avoid relegation, simply amass 40 points. Fail to do that, and you're gonna be in the mix. Simples.

Or even more simply...just beat Wigan at home
