And aside from all that, i'd love a journalist to grow some balls and ask Colin something along the lines of:

"So Colin, imagine your side are 15th with 2 games to go and safe, and also imagine (this will take some serious imagination, but try) that you're also in the FA Cup final in 20 days time - would you pick your strongest side for those last 2 league games?"

Every single manager with a brain cell would field a weakened side and save their top players for an FA Cup Final (let alone a European Cup final, which is what we had). FFS, Colin even rested players for his side's trip to Old Trafford that season, and that wasnt even with a big cup tie coming up. He simply just waved the white flag and threw the game because he didnt hold out any hope of getting anything from it.

    The ****.

He also rested players in a FA cup game against Swansea IIRC, and they got beaten 3-0.

I don't think they have cause to complain about us, just because we were the last game, but I also don't believe you always get what you deserve over the course of the season.
Can't quite remember but they lost their last game of the season as well to Wigan and Manure lost to west ham ?

You can only control the results of the game you're playing in (if they'd beaten Wigan they would have stayed up!) - sadly Warnock will never get this!

And if utd hadn't been after Tevez, they'd have beaten Weat Ham and Sheffield would have stayed up.
