Ngog's been far more impressive at the highest level. He was also much, much better than that Chamakh bloke for Arsenal yesterday who looked to have been somewhat over-hyped in pre-season
I strongly feel that you're making that up

Trust me, that's word for word what the journalist wrote

Even for a sensationalistic attention grabbing journalist, that is dire.

I thought the same. He was running out of breath but I think we rushed with Torres substitution.

Actualy I thought Roy made some poor sub choices yesterday.

Jova is much better defensive player and being natural lefty he could cover LB position better than Maxi. We were lucky they did not explore that side better.

I am not sure why Masch was taken out unless he was injured.

All in all it was too risky to go with 3 subs especially as Torres is still not ready and it almost backfired with Aggar..

To be fair, I’d probably have made the same changes. N’Gog was wrecked and Torres needs game time. Mascherano picked up a knock and I thought Lucas did very well after he replaced him. The Maxi one, maybe, but we don’t know yet how good Jovanovic is defensively, and I did expect Maxi to be our first change for someone.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yep, N'gog was dead on his feet. Needed to come off.

He's definetely got the tools to be a decent player for us.

We still desperately need another striker though.

and yet we're rumoured to be after Carlton Cole...... cant see the point, Ngog is younger, can learn even more and is bang on form at the mo'

We'd be better off with a veteran type if we are gonna persist with 1 up top.
                  3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Ha Ha ... when players hobble off it normally means they are injured...

                        Good thread title.

N'Gog had a good game and took his goal very well indeed.
                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

May or may not be the case.

Sometimes the smart players like Masch simulate more than they are really hurt to buy some extra time before leaving the pitch and put the pressure on the ref to penalize the opposite team player, who committed the foul, for that or any future tackles.

On that note, I didn't read anything about his injury after the game so it may be just a knock if that..

smart players?!?! arsehole plyers more like. i hate it when players over-react . . . . .the big poofs!

pet peev number 1 in football is the rolling around on the floor to get players booked / sent off.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Sure they are smart when they can take advantage of the situation (piss off the opponent and their fans in the process) regardless if you and I don't find that football like whatsoever.

It is a sad reality and without the fundamental changes inside out it will stay as it is.

Also it depends for which team they play .
