Agree 100%, i really want to see Pacheo get games this season, his physique is coming on nicely as is his play, time to experience the rough and tumble of the Prem more often now imo, if not then a loan.
so its shaggys thread title that has caused a curfuffle.
I've done something about that
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
Would people rather he was content picking up his wages and being comfortable with life as a Liverpool player? Ffs the lad just wants to have some future opportunities in terms of playing and is saying as much.big deal!!
Maybe a loan deal would be ideal. Watched him against Dungannon Swifts a few weeks ago and he was a beast - powerful, quick, dominant in the air.
Thanks for reminding me Mavinga on how often Rafa picked players coming through from the Academy to the first team. How many was it again? How many stayed in the first team.
The guy is out of his mind if he thinks he would be in the first team by now under Rafa, he would probably be out on loan, and sold the following season.
Djimi had blistering pace and could put in a mean last ditch tackle from time to time.
I know he was ****, but i had a soft spot for Djimi, he was a trier.
I really like the look of him, he reminds me of Troare (the good aspects of Troares game not the bad).
Watching him and Ayala together at the beginning of last year was a thing of beauty. As you say Mavinga's covering play behind the much less mobile Ayala was Djimi-esque.

Pretty much this, plus Djimi was reasonably big and strong (although his clumsiness countered-acted this trait).
