It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

thanks fook for that. part of me still expect craig to say 'yeah i know he says he'd rather manage everton but i know he loves us really'
Are you surprised he wouldnt want to manage us under the current shambolic owners? Do you think any top manager would?

Wait til we got proper owners (if it happens) and then ask him. I suspect the answer would be different.

Well he does say NEVER. That's good enough for me. Finished, never again should this manger be spoken of in terms of being a prospective future manager of Liverpool, his loss.

Fair point, but, ... “Manchester United would be a great challenge for me. But Liverpool is not the club for me"..... is as near as damnit, he does't say Liverpool as they are, are not the club for me.

Also i see he implies we don't have a good manager either....“Tottenham, Everton... Arsenal maybe. These are all fine clubs with very good managers"

                  ****. (him not you, hehe).

Message to Liverpool football club from Maureen...

Incase any LFC fans did'nt get that...

Manage Everton but NOT liverpool, yeah right!

                    Being a bit selective there.

"“Manchester United would be a great challenge for me. But Liverpool is not the club for me. I know why, but I cannot tell you."

The bit in bold is open to interpretation and i think it's an important part of what he's saying. To me, he wouldnt be interested under the black cloud of our club now, but if the ownership was sorted, i think he would, as would any number of top managers.

But it would be easy to say that rather than going on about other clubs having good managers.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

WUM of the highest order. Why on earth launch an attack on us unless he's hurting inside. Mentioning Everton means he's trying to provoke a reaction.

                          Ignore

It's the only solution. All the same it's hard not to acknowledge a piece of good news at last.
                            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I dont read that being about the current owner issue, i read that as being never. I think the reason this is because he wants to manage utd and knows that it would be impossible to ever do so if he managed lfc. If he said it, he basically be committing to the utd job which would be disrespectful to ferguson.

i read it as being never on the basis that he says he'd be interested in managing everton and not liverpool.

almost equivalent to that shussh gesture at cardiff in my view. its quite clear that if he respected us as a club (not owners/finances/rafa) in any way, he'd not have said this.
