I say that because i've read tonnes of stuff from him about how much admiration he has for LFC and our fans, about how much affinity he acquired for the 'legend' of Liverpool FC and the power of our history, our prestige and our heritage. I based my views on those things i've read from JM.
Now obviously he's coming out with various bits of clap-trap about us and i put that partly down to pantomime, which he does daftly like to do a lot of, and possibly partly down to the fact that when he got the chelsea job, he'd allegedly been offered the chance to discuss the Liverpool job, but had already given his word to Chelsea, so saw the opportunity as having been lost. Whether he's a bit bitter that he didnt get the chance to manage us (through no fault of our own) or not, i'm not sure but he's clearly got a bee in his bonnet about something.
I consider it to be not unlike when someone splits up with a partner and whilst, on the outside, they may bitch and moan about that person, deep down they know they'd love to be back in that situation with them if they could.
That's the basics of how i see it. Right or wrong, none of us can know, but it's just an opinion.
If you see it differently, that's cool. We are each entitled to see it in whatever way we do.
I reacted to what was written, not who wrote it.
