It's worrying man, of course it is, but with so little to be excited about as Liverpool fans, any new signing will be hyped to the max
- Same with Joe Cole.

In saying that, i am looking forward to seeing Meireles and Cole when they're fully settled at LFC, Gerrard and Torres need a bit of help and i'm sure
these fellas will give them just that.

It's going to be a hell of a combo,

Cole is top drawer, a real quality footballer of which we've failed to attract for some time. It's clear he loves this club and the fans already and he hasn't been here long either.

When I see people like Torres and Cole celebrate it makes me realise how much the club means to those that play for it and what the fans mean to the players and vice versa.

Cole would never have had so much passion at Chelsea regardless of whether he was the main man or not which saddens me even more to see the decline of our great club. It hurts so much to see Chelsea, United and even Tottenham ahead of us.

We should always be at the top, we never should have been knocked off our perch and put into the position we are. We were the pinnacle of English football for so long because of Shankly's vision.

We as fans haven't changed regardless of the state of the club which is why the OOTs come here wearing their Liverpool tops, it's not because they don't know what's happening to the club, it's because they're proud to wear the red top of Liverpool Football Club. They know about the heritage and want to see the success that we're all so accustomed to returned to Merseyside.
