FFS thats going to be about a full 24 hour flight there and back for a sodding friendly.

After all his injury issues he's picked up on international duty you'd have hoped for some common sense but of course not - what harm could being stuck in a plane do for 24 hours + each way with a guy with suspect hamstrings!

He needs games. It's good news. If he has flown there he has to play.

For anyone who's interested or doesn't have Sky Sports to watch England game (like me) - The Argentina vs Spain game is on ITV4 later tonight at 20:45 (KO @ 21:00) should be far more entertaining than the England game anyway, let's just hope our Fernando stays safe whilst scoring a few goals in the process.

Imagine if Mascherano takes him out!

After the Kuyt injury, I think he is a cert to get injured.

I wonder if Jovanovic is actualy any good as a striker?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

So Nando wasn't even in the squad. Did he actually travel?

Another gaff from Pepe. Not a great start to the season.

I'm pretty sure was on the bench.

                  Great !!- unused substitute.

Nice trip to Buenos Aires and back to watch a game of football.

I think Reina was at fault for the first 3 goals. The first was an act of genius but he went down to early for me and looked a little clumsy falling over his defenders, the second he was rounded way way too easily and the third was a **** up of epic proportions. Slipped over and then lost out to Tevez on the follow up. He needs to get his head right and quick.

On the plus side Alonso took out Masher brilliantly in the second half.

Not ideal, but much better than him playing and risking injury

I don't think Reina will get another chance after that performance.

Well if his own teammates have that attitude what chance does he have! I thought you were supposed to be his mate

As if Pepe was 'at fault' for the first two. Even the third, although it looks totally horrendous, what the hell is he supposed to do? His foot gave way. What would a coach say to him to iron out a 'mistake' like that? "Make sure you don't fall over"?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

At least he's getting his mistakes out of his system whilst on international duty.
