What you can do to help your club now!

Here are a few things you can be doing between now and the 6th October!

Your club needs you! no one else is going to save this club we need to save it, stop sitting there praying it will pass over or thinking well those ideas are stupid it wont change a thing because ill tell you what wont change a thing for sure and that is sitting on your arse and twiddling your thumbs at least doing these thing have a possiblity of changing whats happening to this club!

    So here we go...

    1. Put pressure on the RBS - http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/...topic=262366.0

    2. More pressure on the RBS by boycotting there Services - http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/...topic=262903.0

    3. Visual protest against the owners (helps keep them in the media which also pressures the RBS) - http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/...084#msg7383084

    4. More visual protests buy the black shirt or just wear a black shirt to the game - http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/...ic=259045.5640 or www.viga.co.uk/lsu

    5. Turn up to the game with your black shirt and meet outside shanklys statue with your fellow campaigners one hour before every home game http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/...topic=262946.0

    6. SIgn the petition against the RBS refinancing G+H's loans - http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/...078#msg7397078

    7. Boycott lfc merchindise

    8. Join your union - www.spiritofshankly.co.uk - http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/...380#msg7395380

    9. Educate fellow reds and urge them to get involeved with these campaigns.

    10. Remember you can do all this and still support Roy and the Boys!

Taken from RAWK. Lets keep pushing because as the OP says we will get nowhere sitting and hoping. I know everyone is fed up of it all, but thats what H&G were hoping would happen, lets show them we willl never rest

I seriously think we should be boycotting home games. Instead of going to the game have a protest outside for the entire 90 minutes

Something like that would make a massive statement. It just wont happen though. We have thousands of day trippers every game who arent arsed in the ins and outs of the club like some of us. They just want their photos for facebook.

Plus the apathy shown by thousands of more supporters who are a bit more clued up on what is really going on is staggering. If just all of the regular posters/observers of the fansites sent a letter to RBS or bought the black protest shirt then the pressure on H&G would be overwhelming. Yet sadly this is not the case, there is maybe a hardcore of 2000 -3000 fans who are keeping up the pressure.

Things are really critical and not many are understanding the problem. If this is not sorted soon then we are going to be in a period of financial misery that will take years to recover from.

You make us sound like the scurge of society ? I come over from Aust every 4-5 yrs or so, so do you think I should miss out on taking my lad to Anfield after years of build up? Just a question like
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

i would just try to time it for when we have new owners.

it is your choice but spending any money with the club inc shirts official merchandise etc help support the current owners.

ultimately we all can chose one thing or another and it is up to you and your an adult so you will make the decision based on whats available to you.

The owners aren't getting a penny out of me at present but I wanted fowler God to understand that there are reasons why "day trippers" will still go to matches. We don't have the luxury of saying yes to this match but no to that one.

                I agree with that.

Although there would be many inclined not to do that. I can think of another a very powerful statement that is very similar and that would be if everyone in the kop end, boycotted a game and protested outside. That is the focal point of LFC and suitable games would be the Europa league games, league cup games and FA cup games.

I seriously think everyone who cares about the club should be doing this. Don't buy any tickets and instead protest outside the ground for the entire game. Don't set foot inside anfield. If you have a season ticket then also stand outside. It would be a huge demonstration. Any ST holder who genuinely cares about the club would take part.

The message would be loud and clear and the press would go crazy for it.

I don't have the time or influence to make this happen but those who do have influence should be organizing this. Its embarrassing/saddening that we aren't doing enough

                      After paying nearly a grand?

Its alright for supporters who havent already bought their tickets, but not realistic to ask someone who's paid that sort of money to stand outside.

In all honesty we all love the club, we all hate the state it is in.

Whats more important, enjoying a football match or doing something to about the long-term existence of your club? A couple of games, not the whole season. To be honest if people are not willing to make the sacrifice then its just shameful

those who want other people to but dont think they should is.

the season ticket argument is a strong one and if any boycott is sucessful needs to be looked at engaged with and pursuaded

To be fair, if i'm going to make the 460 mile round trip, i'm going in the ****ing ground.

if we are to boycott things what about season ticket holders?

should they be imune because they have spent more than we have propping the club up

on the other side when the club comes out of the other side they wont have a ST.

its a difficult one as someone on the waiting list could gain out of the boycott whilest a ST may not.

i suppose in answer to Craigs post the thing would be for that game dont do the 460 mile round journey.

what would be strange a protest or a ghost town round Anfield on the day
