The case to boycott all Europa League, League Cup games and FA Cup games is a stronger one IMO. I understand the season ticket boycott debate when people have already paid for them in advance. Now unless you've joined the priority ticket scheme or pre-paid for the cup games, then everyone should do there best to avoid these games

Yep, i think that's what i'm doing. I've not been to any europa league games this year and i doubt i will. Then, when we get to the final and i dont qualify for a ticket, i will hunt you downOriginally posted by Baracus View PostThe case to boycott all Europa League, League Cup games and FA Cup games is a strong one. Its alright for supporters who havent already bought their tickets, but not realistic to ask someone who's paid that sort of money to stand outside.
In all honesty we all love the club, we all hate the state it is in.Thats fine I charge ridiculously high prices for tickets and can arrange a round the world trip to get you to the final in Ireland from Liverpool, unfortunately we can not guarantee you any Guinness :crackof:Originally posted by Craig_H View PostYep, i think that's what i'm doing. but thats still around £65 that you're asking people to throw down the drain. Personally i believe that boycotting games won't work as there are plenty of people in line who want a ticket.Originally posted by -V- View PostWhats more important, enjoying a football match or doing something to about the long-term existence of your club? A couple of games, not the whole season. To be honest if people are not willing to make the sacrifice then its just shameful
Also there can't be a sale without buyers.. at the moment, we have nobody interested. However, we have made a difference as the club is now up for sale

In essence just not go to any games but thats never gonna happen as people could have been waiting on season tickets for years etc, i've stopped buying merchandise for few years now, get the jerseys for 9 quid on website, can be a decent knock off too, only thing is get behind the manager, hope he gets the team playing well, if things are good on the pitch it won't look so bad off it and hopefully that nightmare will take care of itself and we can all push on.

Didnt say that did i mate? so no need for pointless sarcasm.Originally posted by -V- View PostYeah **** it, lets not do anything
Lets just go through the motions doing pointless chanting inside the ground and just let the club die a slow death
I just feel that asking someone to throw money down the drain is a silly idea as it will never happen.
I want a sale of this club just as much as you do.. But boycotting games wont happen as there are too many people left wanting tickets on a matchday, the ground will always be near enough full
There is not much else we can do, the club is up for sale, and until we can find a buyer.. dumb and dumber will still be in charge.

Nicked from No666 on Rawk:-
The idea is to start turning up the heat on the owners directly by affecting their ability to grow their other businesses; we are therefore beginning a campaign aimed at making any existing or potential business partner(s) aware of the derision in which they are held by millions worldwide, and by the tragic press they are attracting.
First off: as some of you will remember, little Georgie was cosying up to some Saudis for his Nascar interests, portraying himself as a dynamic individual on the back of his association with LFC. Have a look at www.f6world.com and click through the pictures in the 'partners' section - it will leave you feeling a little hollow...
And then join the campaign:
Email address: [email protected]
A sample email:
Dear Sirs,
I am writing to you as a supporter of Liverpool Football Club because I find myself amazed at your business association with George Gillett and its celebration on your website. Are you aware that Gillett is held in contempt by millions of Liverpool supporters around the globe for the egregious impact of his ownership on our unique and historic club? Is the Prince aware that he is associating a brand he wishes to portray as dynamic with a man who has in the past week featured in the international press in critical reports drawing attention to the fact that the RBS has placed the loan he and partner Tom Hicks used to purchase LFC in its so-called 'toxic assets' division?
The Montreal Gazette, which might be expected to be more sympathetic to Gillett than the British press, put it bluntly: 'Gillett and partner Tom Hicks have been skating on the edge of the financial abyss.'
If you have so far remained unaware of all this, I thought you would be interested to know.
Yours sincerely,
xxxxx
Etc Etc. No libels folks, no lies (that's George's preserve) keep it polite and concerned - the facts are all available.
Any other business associates of either we can target, post them up here and we can widen our aim.
