the lack of an LM and CF are worrying

no LM sicne Riera could play well and keep his mouth shut

when did we last have good quality back up for when Torres is out

I think we should see how Ayala gets on at Hull before spending money on any centre backs. Plus we've got Wilson too.

Wilson i like, Ayala i'm not sure abou tbut he is young. Thing we have 2 CB's in Skrtel and Kyriagkos who aren't going to be long term at LFC IMO and Carra is coming to an end. Samba is 26, permier league proven and would be cheap enough, has aerial presence that we miss horribly. Other positions are priority but that CB position should addressed at some stage.

As soon as LFC come sniffing his price will be on the up.

Cheaper than the likes of Hangeland, not as commercial as alot of CB's would be but just as good. IMO he will be snapped up he's performing too good not to be noticed & would be worth a punt for a decent fee being so experienced and still only 26.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's a decent CB and one we should be interested in if we sell Skrtel. I just think they'd ask for £10m plus, when in reality he's probably £5m max.

Fair point its hard to say with Fat Sam, but he would be a vast improvement on Skrtel and Kyriagkos for sure, just can't see him being at Blackburn next season.

I beleive two people made signings for Liverpool this season. Roy for the first team and Kenny for the youth squad.

i believe that Shelvey and Wilson were Kenny signings.

Clearly Lucas is not up to scratch. He's good , but so was David thompson, and i think that was his level. Its too late now for Lucas to turn into Paul Scholes or Frank Lampard or whovever.

however meireles could be a great signing. he is one of the first proven players we have signed for some time, and lets face it, we took a gamble on torres and Mascherano. He is established in the national tema of the one of the stronger nations of europe in terms of footy.

I have massive doubts about our Swedish signing but could be proved wrong.(watch him agianst Darren Fletcher if he gets the chance)

Clearly we need an extra striker. nando seems worryingly frail. Lets hope one of the kids breaks though there.

Agree on Lucas, we need better than he currently is, in the most important part of the team.
