For me, while generally very good, Enrique definitely holds onto the ball too much in tight situations some times. Given that I think both he and Johnson are generally well balanced in terms of being good defensively and with the ball, I'd rather that complaint than have two fullbacks who looked to smash the ball down the line or out all the time.

That's my only slight gripe with Enriques game too, but he's very good at getting out of trouble and rarely gets caught, so it balances itself out. We'd be losing possession if he just wacked it out for a throw in everytime.
I think he's the best left back in the league. Cole and Evra are living on past merits, both still good players but not quite what they were. I can't think of anyone else even close to him. Bargain signing.

we are fortunate to have glenn, kelly and flano who can all cover LB very well. given that we have options for that position, would it make sense to better utilise glenns good attacking capabilities down the RW and play him there instead of kuyt. this would then give better crosses for carroll, better support for the attack with the right winger following up the play and getting in to the box, and also, no doubt, adding a few goals like he has done in the past.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
