Rafa - No Way Back?

No, what makes them daft is claiming they backed Rafa all along. If people came out and admitted their mistakes then this forum would be so much easier on the eye for all concerned.

It would cut out so much mindless bickering. I guess i'm being daft myself as maybe the post (and thread) I did would only ever cause more argument. I was just annoyed I guess. Annoyed of people saying "I told you so" when in fact they told me the opposite and I backed Rafa and gave him more time than they ever did.

I predominantly backed Rafa but on occassions after extremely disappointing & frustrating results, wavered in my support & vented on the forum. I'm sure there's plenty who wouldve voted/spoke out against keeping him in a forum poll straight after such a match, but changed their mind back in the cold light of day.

It's easy to lash out at a close target. Similarly, when I'm pissed off about stuff, sometimes I shout at the missus, regardless of stuff not begin her fault.

In general though, the lack of backing the fans gave Rafa lst year is a real sore point for me still.

TBH, I think in the main people would have accepted a change was needed. But only if we were brining in a coach of similar standing.

I doubt there are many who would accepted the swap of Hodgson for Benitez.
