Toward the end of his tenure i was unhappy with the type of play and players Rafa was managing, lets be honest, apart from one season we were never close to the Premiership winners either and thus he failed ( i know there was circumstances etc etc - but that was his job).

Roy is the wrong choice PERIOD (thought i'll sound all fancy and American).

As I see it there is no point in discussing the whole manager situation right now, what strikes me right now is whether we have a squad that is good enough right now even with 3 world class players?

I mean we have had an arguably world class manager and a very capable manager not managing to get the players to play together as a team, not even managing to get them to string together 4+ passes, that is somewhat telling me that perhaps a lot of the players we currently have are just not up to the task...

Perhaps it's less a managerial question than it is a work force question, whether ability, moral or squad harmony...
