Im sorry but when Roy criticized the protest the other day - when he said "it didnt help" that was such a diss to the pretty much all of us who are unhappy with the current owner situation. A post match protest should have absolutely NO effect upon what happens within the game himself and he should stick to trying to do what he's paid (no doubt a fortune) to do. I didnt see the game last night - i couldnt get ITV4 - so i "watched" it on teletext but seemingly i was lucky to have missed the shambolic and uninspired display. I did see the City v Juve game - which reminded me that football can be quite enjoyable to watch and some teams do have a decent go at winning a game - it was end to end. I couldnt help thinking Torres might do well at City with Johnson / Miller etc supplying him. And really its come to that for me - im thinking that one of the most amazing players who has played for us and who i adore would do better moving on to another team!!
So now we are ****ting ourselves over the visit of Blackpool - i'll say that again - Blackpool. If we draw or lose and Hodgson comes out with this woeful bull**** again then I'll add my name to the "he must go now" camp - which I never thought I'd be inclined to do. Sad times methinks.

i hate the owners. i want them out. i dont agree with the protests on match days. not on match days do whatever you want and id support it. but on match days it is a distraction. i dont care what anyone says . . . . .it doesnt help the players one bit.

I have a freeview tv but and get pretty much what im supposed to get but for some reason ITV4 mostly wont tune - thanks for the tip about itv.com - i didnt think of that! Doh! Cheers mate!

I thought the general consensus was that Gerrard supported the protests and came out to applaud them? I still dont understand how a protest AFTER the game should distract anyone DURING the game. If anything Roy mentioning it at the press conference a day BEFORE the game and saying it didnt help was the most distracting factor? No?

He already has,we now play man to man marking,badly,with the very limited skrtel as part of a poorly performing back 4,we also sit deep and dont press as high up the pitch as we used to and as an attacking force we offer absolutely nothing.Pass sideways,then backwards, repeat ad nauseum until a final hopeful but ultimately piss poor final ball forward and we lose it.Then after yet another **** Performance good ol Roy comes out in the press and says the usual,"good performance against a very tough side,happy with the point" etc.Plus He seems to think Poulsen and Lucas are a good pairing which is a shootable offence straight away

In 30 years supporting the reds I've never called for a managers head at any point in his first season or even his second but the man is nowhere near good enough to be in charge.He needs to go and go now

I had the exact same thought last night.

Roy is doing a smashing job of slowly taking the focus off the board and onto the ****e on the pitch.
