But Cecil 'consulted widely' and 'everyone agreed' he was the right man for the job. He had a checklist and everything.Originally posted by zac50 View Postwho appointed this tosser!!
I said at the time he was getting his buck passing excuses in early and I expect to hear more of that if/when Roy eventually has to go.

He did change it though - he brought on Ngog and went with two up front.Originally posted by liverpooltj View PostIt is only going to get worse. We were 2-1 down there and Roy didn't do a thing about it. Just sat on his arse looking clueless.
Is this what we have come down to having someone like Roy Hodgson as our manager who is happy with results like that?.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

He is clearly clueless. We have been placed in this predicament by Purslow and Broughton. They know **** all about football and they chose the manager. I'm close to the point where I can't take this **** 3 times a week. If it continues like this I will boycott the games until the infamous 5 (Hicks, Gillet, Perslow, Broughton and Hodgson) are out!Originally posted by Shaggy View PostWhat the **** does Hodgson see in Poulsen? I don't get how you can watch him play football and come to the conclusion he is anything other than ****. We could've had billionaire owners with millions to burn and he would still have bought him.

"There are no easy home wins in the Premier League, you have to fight for everything. The way we came back from 2-1 down was very commendable and towards the end of the game we were creating a lot of chances. We thoroughly deserved our point and I'm very pleased to end what's been a bad week, on a high."

Of course he's not happy with **** results. I mean come on man, which manager doesn't want to win games? stupid post.Originally posted by liverpooltj View PostIs this what we have come down to having someone like Roy Hodgson as our manager who is happy with results like that?
Although I can see why people are frustrated. We have no choice but to back the team. As **** as the team is and the tactics/manager/owners are, the fans at Anfield today need lining up and shooting. If you're paying £35 at least make some noise. Whoever gets chance to attend a game next, if you see someone with a camera or a phone taking pictures ****ing break them. It's a live event full of passion not a ****ing walk around a musuem or a zoo. One of my most annoying things of modern life.
