It hurts to admit it but I always considered this season to be a total write off. Anything(our current form) that suggests a riskier situation for RBS and further discourages them from re-financing is fine by me. Short term pain - long term gain as far as I'm concerned.

I know. Of everything over the summer, this was where I started to have serious doubts. He's a poor player and he's always been a poor player. And we spent how much on him? When money's tight, blowing millions on an average 29 year old is inexcusable.

We should have kept Aquilani and signed a forward or proper left back for the cash.
