What happens on the park this season is inconsequential compare to what happens off the park.
Gillette and Hicks both must be ousted.

Arsenal have lost at home to West Brom and conceded 3 goals. He's rightOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostOh dear.
Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson on his side's 2-2 draw with Sunderland: "There are no easy home wins in the Premier League, you have to fight for everything. The way we came back from 2-1 down was very commendable and towards the end of the game we were creating a lot of chances. We deserved our point."
The team showed bottle to come back from a goal down so early in the 2nd half - he's right again
we did end up having a few very decent chances at the end - right again
we did deserve our point at the very least - right again
in the dressing room he'll be telling the players what he really feels about some of their performances.

I see the logic but I don't agree. You have to give time see if half-time tweaks make a difference. The goal came early - I think waiting until the hour mark was a reasonable decision.Originally posted by liverpooltj View PostHe didn't bring Ngog on until the 61st minute and Bent scored in the 48th. He should of acted as soon as they scored as it was clear the whole first half nothing was working.
Of course I'm assuming he made some tweaks at half-time.
Of course he did..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Er, he took poulsen off, brought ngog on, and was quickly rewarded with a goalOriginally posted by liverpooltj View PostIt is only going to get worse. We were 2-1 down there and Roy didn't do a thing about it. Just sat on his arse looking clueless.
Is this what we have come down to having someone like Roy Hodgson as our manager who is happy with results like that?

I fail to see anything in Poulsen's performances that's an improvement on Lucas. Quite the opposite in fact. But as he's one of Hodgson's old boys it looks like we're going to be stuck with him week in, week outOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostWhat the **** does Hodgson see in Poulsen? I don't get how you can watch him play football and come to the conclusion he is anything other than ****. We could've had billionaire owners with millions to burn and he would still have bought him.

happy in the fact we were staring down the barrell looking at a defeat and got a point out of it. Not happy as in he'll be having a few beers celebrating ffs. Are you really as thick as you post?Originally posted by liverpooltj View PostWell he has just said he was happy with the point. Well he is the only one. Get your head out the sand he is **** and we are 15th.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

How the **** is drawing 1-1 as ending the week on a high.

We were awful, sorry but he has looked clueless, he has taken us backwards, he has looked tactically inept, he has destroyed our defence. And it isn't ending the week on a high, the views on here show that.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostArsenal have lost at home to West Brom and conceded 3 goals. He's right

But this contained a lot of players that didn't play for Rafa last season. That's two well respected managers and two managers who these players won't play for so maybe we have to really start looking at the attitudes of the players.Originally posted by liverpooltj View Post+1
He needs to go. That was our strongest 11 and that was worse than anything i have seen.
Not picking on you or totally defending Roy, as these performances aren't good enough but I think it's the players we should be having a go at, but didn't he bring on Ngog when 2-1 down and him being on the pitch made a big difference and during which we equalised?Originally posted by liverpooltj View PostIt is only going to get worse.
