Thanjk you.

He's taking this 'lowering expectations' lark a tad too far. Roy, we are still Liverpool football club, we still have standards, we still have expectations and we ****ing well weren't a relagation side before you joined us. Get it into your thick ****ing head.
So without just proclaiming the manager to be ****, what do we actually think was wrong?
For me, the most glaringly obvious mistake was the formation for much of it
I'm aware that I don't know even a fraction of what Roy does with regards the game, so this is perhaps a silly thing to say but I can't fathom why the ****ing hell we set up like that. Just bizarre. Those players are made for the 4-5-1 we played last season. That worries me a little.
I don't like what I'm seeing so far. I didn't ever want Hodgson, but he's here and I personally think it's too early to call for his head. I just don't want it ever to get to the stage whereby its risky to keep getting these results
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet
So it must be better then if Etuhu says so and Fulham are flying aren't they? I know they are above us (by a massive 2pts) and haven't lost yet but then again they have won as many games as us, 1!
To be honest that's exactly how I thought we set up last season.
So whats the point in changing it then if its the same?
It hurts to admit it but I always considered this season to be a total write off. Anything(our current form) that suggests a riskier situation for RBS and further discourages them from re-financing is fine by me. Short term pain - long term gain as far as I'm concerned.
I did put forward the theory that the board/mgmt are deliberately devaluing the club and also ensuring that it is sold, to a buyer that they already have lined up and who will not buy at G&H's ridiculous valuation.

Few things for me
Formation - Not many teams set up 442 now on a regular basis, probably only spurs who have the wide players which suit it. Torres has tended to play better with someone just off him rather than up with him
Tempo - We dont move the ball quick enough to drag the opposition out of position
Closing Down - We used to press high up the pitch now we retreat and let the opposition defence have the ball passing it into the midfield under little or no pressure
Marking and defending crosses - Just all over the place, bring back zonal
And be replaced by who? Kenny? His appointment would be a way bigger risk than leaving to Roy to somehow get some sort of handle on us. O'Neill? Would probably piss of more people than Roy and is a big chance anyway. Hiddinck?

The point in changing, IMO, was the hope that a new manager might have just got this lot to play as a team because it seemed like they didn't want to play as a team or for Rafa.
When Rafa left Valencia some part of the squad and members of the board celebrated because they felt that Rafa's cold business like approach and "ugly" tactics was actually limiting the potential of the squad. They believed that a more hand on shoulders approach would be better for them. Three months later they realized that Rafa's tactics where helping them punch above their weight.
I think we are slowly getting into that phase now.

Fair enough, and hopefully he can but the early signs dont look good
