You just prefer the jump up and down on the touchline style of management. O'Neill would be a bigger long ball merchant.Originally posted by Havors View Postim gonna say it again and im probably gonna get helled for it but....
sack the miserable un-inspiring un-charasmatic old fart and give O'Niell the job!

You seriously can't still believe Roy is a better choice than Rafa. I have seen nothing to say we are going to do any better this season. The negative attitude from Roy and the negative tactics are depressing for all Rafa's faults he did set the team up to control matches, something that Roy seems incapable to do. The sooner he is gone the better.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI don't think Roy is brilliant. I do like him though.
I just love the way people think its purely down to one formation or the other. If you're best players are out of form and lacking confidence you'll struggle.
What I have realised is that where as last year I thought a new manager would get more out of the team than Rafa was, perhaps I was wrong. The cloud hanging over the club is ****ing whoever is in charge. BUT I'm still happy Rafa ain't here because I was fed up with him and his attitude. So even though the results are poor I'm still watching every game whereas last season I had no fire left in my belly and was fed up with football. Come December I'll know whether I was backing the wrong horse in Roy though.

im not calling for Roy to go. However a few more results like this and the pressure will keep building. Its a results business and if you dont get them you go. Whether its right or wrong it does happen. If we were being unlucky or making progress then there would be less unease.Originally posted by vonk View PostI don't see anyone is defending it. We are playing **** at the moment and it's the managers job to correct it of course, but calling for a managers head after 6 League games smacks of a new Sky generation of Liverpool fans who have no patience and a complete lack of a grasp of reality.
Liverpool Football Club are not going to sack a manager after this amount of games and no amount of forum rants are going to change that. We're not ****ing Newcastle United. He will get time, even if we get new owners. This is not the time to call for a change of manager. The club is in turmoil and we need to support the players, the manager, and the board members who are trying to stop the fat Texan getting control of the club.
Back to football. The reason we didn't win today was because Gerrard and Poulsen were completely bossed in midfield by Cattermole and Henderson. It was only when Meireles came back to play alongside Gerrard and Torres had a partner that we controlled the game. I hope Roy learns from this. Time will tell.
Lots didnt want Roy so every bad result just confirms what they thought. Some think that Rafa had gone as far as he could so we needed change.
however some lambasted Rafa for negative tactics lack of creativity and they dont do the same when arguably we are worse now.
Its not all Roys fault like it wasnt all Rafas fault i just dont get how some people could not bring themselves to defend Rafa but they defend what looks to be worse.

I was fed up of looking at Rafa on the touchline, in press conferences and in general. What part don't you understand?Originally posted by SRR View PostYou seriously can't still believe Roy is a better choice than Rafa. What makes you think I don't understand it I was just commenting on your reasons why you wanted Rafa to go and asking whether you were happy with Roy's negative approach and attitude.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI was fed up of looking at Rafa on the touchline, in press conferences and in general.
