Sort my speling mistakes out sir. (Niel Yung)

John Aldridge would like to see young defender Martin Kelly selected at right-back in the coming weeks - with Glen Johnson moved up field to play on the wing. But what do you think?

I voted no cos I don't think it's the answer. He's an attacking full back and that's where he should stay. However.......despite me getting pretty sick of hearing this suggestion all the bloody time, it's getting to the point where we're so chronically bad, and I'm so deflated with it all, that I wouldn't be against us trying it out. Can't do any ****in' harm can it. If only just to put it to bed once and for all.

Give him a go. I wonder how many people are put off the idea by Dani Alves? I think he doesn't do well on the wing but this may be because he's an undisciplined, brainless, hotheaded, diving nutter.

Definitely no for me as well. He doesn't have Bale potential and he will never be able to convert successfuly to RW.

More I think about it, more I think he'd make a cracking RW.

But then I come back to reality, and think - OMFG - our club must be in a **** state if we have to consider playing full backs on the wing as we're too skint to afford a decent one.

And that's the point, not many are actually saying play Glen on the wing because they think the untested Kelly is a better RB, they're saying it because we lack attacking flair in the final third. Sad times people, sad times.
                        Forwards.......

is it better to play meireles there? that's been happening a fair bit as well.

That pretty much nicely sums up for me.

He aint a RM, not by a long shot. Meireles Roy says can play in anyone of the three central positions, and I agree. But he is not a RM. And I don't remember Roy saying he could.

We basically went for broke against Man Utd and for about ten minutes he looked good at RM. Then we sat back again and he got ripped to shreds and looked average at RM.

Raul playing at RM is just another sign of Roy losing the plot if it continues.
