Yes I agree but just for arguments sake we could of lost every game 1-0 and still had the 3rd best defensive record but quite obviously the worst ever points tally and been relegated.

Yep that is very true. But even back then, I didn't want us to sign Masch permanently - I always preferred Sissoko. His passing was awful when he wasn't getting continous games or was coming back from a long lay off. But other than that, he was an amazing player.

We could, but that is a bit of an irrelevancy. Last season we defended better, made more chances and at least had shape. Roy has removed even these things from our side.

Jesus christ. He was ****ing rubbish, that's why he was sold!

Momo pre injury was immense. Momo post injury was terrible

Just ridiculous. Thats the thing, if we were just in a rut or playing badly, then you could almost forgive results due to the upheaval of a new manager

But when he sets the team out like that?

                Turn to Channel 5

That post has to be one of the worst I've had the displeasure of reading. You contradict yourself completely. So going by your judgement, we should sell Torres? As pre-injury he was immense. But post injury he has been terrible

What? You know that pre means before, and post means after, yes?

Please forgive me though, I sincerely and wholeheartedly apologise for providing you with one of the worst posts you've ever had the displeasure of reading. On a football forum. On the internet. You massive weirdo

Exactly - put the right players in the right positions and play to their strengths. Then if the results are bad, then at least the fans can't blame the manager. But when a team contains 3 defensive midfielders, one of which is put out on the wing, you can't help but get majorly frustrated.

Just defies logic. With 3 midfielders, none of whom can play on either wing, there is surely no option other than to have them in the middle! Bizarre, especialyl considering he did it previously and we were just as crap then

Yes I think I do know the meaning of pre and post: English is my first language

As I said, watch the city game on Channel 5 then give a "post" match judgment on him.

In a perverse kind of way, I sort of am........................crush them, and maybe we'll kick on with some confident displays......get beaten, and then ???......well, something will have to give.....

Either way, something will hopefully happen

and came 7th. I'd quite happily come lower down in the defensive stakes if we finished in 4th in the league

Umm, I don't believe I need to, given that I was specifically questioning whether or not he was good for us, POST (after) injury?

I'm intrigued to know what was contradictory about my post?

And - considering you think my post was, and I quote "one of the worst I've had the displeasure of reading" - where you were when Marky was around?

Hehe, that was your 2500th post! I hope you're proud
