Have you been reading Craig's diary again?

      Guthrie is 20

Watching him in the reserves highlights he's always struck me as one of those players who's not especially brilliant at any one particular thing, but looks pretty capable in all departments.

I think the biggest plus sign is whether a kid coming in for a debut looks overawed. I don't think they did.

And to be fair, coming on as a sub to play in centre mid with Zenden as your support is a pretty tricky thing to do, but he did well.

              A bit like Carra then

                Haha

That is kind of how I think of him tbh, people that watch the full games will know a lot more about him I'm sure but I think he's one of those lads who, if he succeeds, it will be because he's a real grafter who makes the most of his talent rather than because his natural ability has shone through.

I love the fact that there is no commentary, just the crowd noise. Like Shaggy said, it's like being there.
Plus gets rid of the commentators who 99% of the time haven't got a clue anyway.

I thought it was Paletta that took out the guy on the line (picking up a yellow for it too) which led to the 1st goal for them?

Thought Reina looked good in the 1st half and had some good handling before finally falling to pieces again in the second half.

Agree the defence didn't help him, especially when they were all flying in just before the 2nd goal I think it was.

The linesman on the Centenary side was ABSOLUTELY shocking! It's getting ridiculous now in the modern game where linesman look to the ref before raising the flag, but for a throw in?! For ****s sake, he's there to make that decision, not look at the ******* ref!

Anyway, he was poor all night and missed loads of decisions.

It was, but it was the kid who dived in rashly in the first instant that created the danger. Should have stayed on his feet but he'd only just come on and was obviously nicely enthusiastic. He settled down well after that.
