Don't be daft. People aren't blaming Poulsen for everything.

If any single person is being blamed it's Hodgson. Poulsen is being used as part of the case against him.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

But he did make a terrible mistake yesterday, and so did 2 other players leaving portugal with 3 goals.

And btw. congratulations to all for finding their scapegoat to blame everything on, must be nice for those who had to spend all of last season doing the same with Lucas...

The whole team and mentality really needs to be focus not just one player although it seems easier to bandwagon on...

on a sidenote how and where did Raul play?

Was that his debut at Hillsborough? If so I witnessed his entire LFC career.

I'm sure I saw him come on at Anfield. And then everybody started laughing.

I definitely saw him play at Hillsborough. Came on as sub and was rubbish.

Edit - just looked it up. Came on for Redknapp for the last 8 minutes

Top Ten Worst Ever Liverpool Players

                        1. Jean Michel Ferri – Appeared in only 2 substitute appearances against Chelsea and Sheffield Wednesday for Liverpool as Gerard Houllier’s first signing. Cost the club £1.7million from Turkey, he picked up an injury straight after signing. Despite this, he never had the quality even when fit and was sold back to France with Sochaux within a year.

On reflection I'm pretty sure it was Dundee's debut I saw at Anfield.

Crowd gives him a big cheer of welcome, shortly before seeing him skinned for pace by a not very good defender. Cue involuntary laughter and mutters, of "Oh dear."

I saw Paul Stewart's home debut. I was about 10 and I remember thinking "he's ****", and by the end of the game, everyone around me had publically agreed.

It was spread over 2 games so unfortunately the group of fans with you in the stadium that day werent the only ones to suffer
