        Ah I see. Okay.

6 seems a bit.........arbitrary? May as well mark the players out of 43.8

But he did make a terrible mistake yesterday, and so did 2 other players leaving portugal with 3 goals.

And btw. congratulations to all for finding their scapegoat to blame everything on, must be nice for those who had to spend all of last season doing the same with Lucas...

The whole team and mentality really needs to be focus not just one player although it seems easier to bandwagon on...

That Danish paper which awarded him a big fat zero for his 'performance' must've missed those then.

Seriously, come on. He is absolutely not a 'scapegoat'. As NY said, if anything Hodgson is taking all the flak - quite rightly - and Poulsen is just one of Hodgson's many crimes.

All people can do is call it as they see it, and Poulsen has been absolutely ****ing wank...which is no surprise to many. To think he replaced Mascherano. Words fail me.

Maybe 6 is danish for 10? Can any Danes on here confirm?
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I didn't say he played well because he was horrible yesterday, but he did play quite differently than he does for LFC...

But I still think it says way more about the fans blaming it all on Poulsen and calling him certain things I thought Liverpool fans where beyond, than it does about him.

I also very much suspect it's the same people blaming Lucas all of last season that are just happy to find a new scapegoat to blame it all on, whilst it has been the whole team that's been playing ****ing wank all season.

He is a Roy signing but that far from means that he needs to take all the abuse for the ****ty performances when he has played no better, no worse than everybody else this season.

There are IMO just some smallminded fans that have a hard time accepting the general state and general performance of the team, and are just happy to have a player they can call all kinds of demeaning words.

and tbh. I think those fans should be ashamed. Critisicm is fine, but the way it's done...

How many games has this guy played in the English Premiership, and already he is being labelled as c**t .

Hes adapting to a new team and a new sytem with a new manager, something that many supporters based on comments in this thread seem to forget.

Sure he hasnt impressed yet, but its a bit early to make any sort of judgement, neve mind the kind of moronic statements that seem to be made.

Give him a chance to settle, and find his feet in the new system, and then judge him.

Remember how long it took Mascherano to settle...

Poulsen is a liability for any team he plays in, he give the ball away, he makes rash tackles, his positional sense sucks. When Poulsen plays, the opposing team have an extra player

Personally I'm not into calling him a 'cunt' and all that, although I've given him plenty of stick.

when he has played no better, no worse than everybody else this season
Clearly everybody has been ****e, but IMO Poulsen has been one of the absolute worst. The fact Hodgson has broken from his usual philosophy of "no subs til we're past 80 minutes" to haul him off after an hour on no less than three occasions surely suggests (at least) Roy is becoming increasingly aware of the guy's ineptitude and utter unsuitability for this league. He's just far too slow in body and mind, and, well, just not good enough.

And for what it's worth I've been one of those with unwavering faith in Lucas. Ironically I'd just waved the white flag on Lucas when Poulsen turned up and now I want him back in the side until we get someone better.

Come on, mate, get off your high horse. I know you're Danish but there's no need to take it personally.

Poulsen is 30 and has been crap (in relative terms) forever. I never wanted him here and so far he's proved me 100% right. Others have been crap this season and many of them were crap last season too. But we've seen them play better so they're going through poor form. So, yes, we can blame all of them but some of them will get better, at least if and when we get a more capable manager.

I've never seen Poulsen play any better than middling and that was a while ago. Now he's too slow and too old and too crap on the ball to play as a holding midfielder in the Premiership.

I'm very supportive of new players and young players. I've consistently defended Lucas, probably too far. But he's done OK and does not deserve the criticism he gets.

Poulsen is, as Shaggy said, a Hodgson crime - he's not really as bad as Ferri but he's not good enough. I'd rather have Spearing in the team tbh and I'd definitely rather have Lucas.

I can easily accept the dire performance of the team - it's disappointing but the fact is we've been abysmal. And that, very largely, is down to the manager.

The sooner he goes the better.

                            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
