Hopefully with the ownership issue resolved the buzz will carry through into the teams performance and we can get a great result to start an new era in style
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I worry about Poulsen in the derby, the game has generally been passing him by quite alot I can't imagine he'd be up to the pace of this one at all. I think he could be a liability in this game (more than usual)The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

All the signs point to Roy being utterly incapable of harnessing the elation of the fans re the takeover and instilling something in the players. (Realistically, I doubt Rafa would've tried this either...) I can see Cahill scoring with at least one header and Torres sulking for most of the second half as he is left utterly isolated but endlessly kicked up front. This game is made for Blue****e.
I'm elated at the demise of those two horrible cunts, cautiously optimistic about the new owners, but utterly pessimistic about our football. I've been totally convinced that he is the wrong man for the job and we'll all be brought horribly back to earth on Sunday. Sorry

Dont you remember the great European nights. Rafa was brilliant at harnessing the power of the Kop through some carefully timed quotes and actions. The pc before the Chelsea semi final was brilliant, absolutely brilliant.Originally posted by badpiggy View PostAll the signs point to Roy being utterly incapable of harnessing the elation of the fans re the takeover and instilling something in the players. I'm pretty much epically wrong there
But you know what I mean about Rafa being unfased by this stuff whereas Roy just seems catatonic.
