i think with this squad, even though we're lacking numbers a bit, we have to go 4-3-3. probably it would get the best out of what we've got. never happen with roy though will it?

we should defo be going 4-3-3 or 4-4-2.

our 4-5-1 formation that played under rafa and the sort of similar is somewhat disjointed 4-5-1 that roy is playing doesnt work as well as the 4-3-3 that chelsea play, the 4-4-2 that united play or the 4-3-3 / 4-4-2 / 4-4-1-1 that the arse play. the only other team who deploys a team like ours is citeh.

i'd love to see 4-4-2 with torres + another top striker but right now 4-4-3 with torres / cole / kyut will do.

i guess that's about as positive as we can be. don't think for a moment babel will play, but i could see ngog starting without kuyt or poulsen in the side. babel could play with torres i guess.
