Our lack of shape, as is the norm under Hodgson is a joke. Meireles and Gerrard popping into each others position, usually at the same time. I swear Lucas has no idea who his partner is in there. Both fullbacks reluctant to go past the halfway line. Skrtel being dominated by Yakubu. Cole and Maxi both utterly **** in the first half, and neither went anywhere near the sidelines. Torres horribly isolated.

It's bewildering, almost every fan can see the formation we try to play doesn't suit the players we have, the tactics don't suit the players we have and unless things change quickly we're not moving from the bottom of the table.

this is just sad. we are letting everton take the game to us, we sit back and wait until they get around our last third.

And again our holding midfielders are playing useless football, Gerrard time and time again have to come back and take the ball for a useful pass upfield to happen. How can Lucas and Meireles just pass it sideways time and time again? It's the same when Poulsen is there, and I honestly believe they are told to by now. I know that both Meireles and Poulsen makes loads of long passes for their national team.
