Sack him! sack him now....Originally posted by Bender View PostRoy Hodgson has conceded that Liverpool's away form is leaving them in real danger of finishing outside the top half of the Barclays Premier League table.
Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Newcastle continued a poor run of results on the road this season whilst damaging their credentials of vying for a Champions League place.
And Hodgson has warned that it may not be the top four that is out of the realms of possibility for Liverpool come the end of May but also the top ten if their travel sickness is not banished.
“Our away form continues to be very, very poor and it's something we need to do something about," he admitted.
"If we'd played the whole of 90 minutes as we played the first 45 minutes maybe I wouldn't be as disappointed as I am.
“For a team that wants to be in the top half of the table, our away form is not good enough.”
He added: "I came into this job to try and win every game and I can't say it's harder or easier than I thought – I just need to keep working hard. It's the job I signed on to do.
“Do I wake up in the middle of the night often? You find me a football manager who's worthy of his sword, who doesn't wake up in middle of night after matches, and I'll give you a good headline.”
surely he is doing this on purpose...what a shocking statement to stay as he lowers his/our expectations down to his level.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Pity there isnt a facetious smiley it would come in quite useful with most posts regarding RoyOriginally posted by 5europeancups View PostI know, I was being facetious...
again.
The quicker we are relieved of Roys inspirational leadership, the quicker we can all move on from our current neuroysis that is afflicting all the posters on here...
Yeah there are plenty of neuroysis about at the minute I'm surprised everyone hasnt started scratching along with Roy
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Nesv like stats. And whilst away we are poor under Hodgson, we were in the second half of last season too. And that won't have gone unnoticed.
I think had we been okay away from home earlier on this year, we'd have a much stronger case. Beating only Burnley and Bolton away from home in the whole of 2010 is clearly not good enough.Forwards.......

I think that's the key to understanding their mindset. They probably want to gather as much data, such as use the full 3 year contract that Hodgson has, to make a substantial and unequivocal case to fire him.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostNesv like stats.
The more data you have, the better. Are we winning?
