I continue to compare it because I actually think that quite a number of these players that wear our famous red shirt don't actually give a ****. I agree that it is becoming far far worse but it's a continuation of the season before, it's not new to this season which you seem to think it is and that this team should be walking into the top 4.

I even wonder, and have mentioned it before (sorry about that) whether the season we finished second took it out of quite a number of these players and they lost all belief which would account for why they were so **** last season as well, and they were ****.

I don't really buy that. I think losing two of the key leaders of the season we finished second (Hyypia and Alonso) was a big kick in the balls. Added to that the leaders we did have (who I think were largely lacking in tactical nous) in Gerrard, Mascherano and Carragher were all having other issues (injury, wanting away and getting older respectively).

People always claim players don't care when they play badly. I suspect it is generally more complicated than that.

At the minute Roy has made a couple of our problems much worse tactically without dealing with any of the other issues.

Last season was very poor but I could always see reasons that things might pick up and they were the same ones that were there in other seasons during rough patches of form with Rafa. Now I see no hope, no sign that Roy wants things to be done differently.

Fair enough, saying players don't give a **** is probably a bit too far, probably a little bit too pissed off.

But something did go seriously wrong last season, either we relied on certain players more than we thought or the season we came second took it's toll, maybe mentally as well as physically. I also think that we, as fans, have over-rated a number of our players and that some of them really are not very good.

I would hazard a guess that coming not only back from a lengthy injury, being completely mismanaged by a cockney wide boy (in comparison to a Spanish-speaking, intelligent, world-class manager who genuinely made him into a superstar striker in *that* season) and his having had his second child might take its toll. We're only human after all. Legends may sleep...but they never die.

No, they have a history of success at Boston - the shenanigans going on currently i believe won't have been missed.

Comolli will be their eyes and ears on the footballing side,they are looking for a CEO for the business side.

Thought i had had a few Relax, they only just bought the club and wiped out almost all of the debt, compared to the £250mill or £300+mill worth of debt, £40mill is nothing. Think of what we have saved paying the banks back in INTREST alone.
