Much like the defeat at Everton this season featuring 8 players who started the 4-1 win at Old Trafford, 8 of last night's starting XI started the 4-0 win over Real Madrid.

    Unbelievable.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yep. Bascombe also does some stooge work for Cecil.

This is an oft-quoted stat on forums like this one yet the media still claim he was left no quality. It is unbelievable.

Hallelujah. Indeed, someone 'could' be. And as i've said, it's not so much the position of playing wide, it's more the role - and it's lack of freedom.

Indeed, Roy may well have not promised a 'certain position'. Very cleverly worded by the old duffer.

Did The Bodge promise Cole the 'in the hole role' or did he promise Cole 'creative freedom'. If a winger plays on the wing and is given creative freedom, is he fullfilling the 'in the hole role'?

I knew you would start arguing over the definition of roles, that's why I mentioned it in an earlier post........

Did you hear that from Cole's mates too?

I have to say that I agree with Hodgson about one thing, and that is its time to start supporting the club now. It was all rather unpleasant last night and whilst I agree that he isn't the man for the job, I felt a little embarrassed last night at the "Hodgson for England", "Dalglish" and cheers for Konchesky's substitution.

At first I thought it was amusing but that soon changed. We're turning into Newcastle.

Danny Kelly displaying, as we discussed earlier, unbelieveable ignorance. He's just actually said "The new American owners will now have to sack the man they've only recently appointed"

Marcotti was sounding the death-knell for him on 5Live just now.

It's unstoppable. He's clearly going to go in the summer and if things get any worse he'll be gone sooner.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

                        He said this apparently

"never mind kenny being out of the game it looks like hodgsons been out the game 20 years"

I've been critical of Evans, with good reason, this past 12 months but it was highly reassuring to hear a top(?) journo from a big paper absolutely caning Hodgson. No punches pulled whatsoever.

I have supported Liverpool fc all of my life. I do not need telling to support the club by someone who has all but destoyed the club on the pitch. This is the ultimate insult

The person responsible for the demise is blaming everything and anything apart from himself.

This person has been found out, big time

                            This person is grossly incompetent

This person has done nothing since arriving to warrent any respect

This person has badmouthed supporters (now he wants support!)

This person is a real life Walter Mitty

This person can go **** himself

Aldo (may God forgive me) is a bell end at times. We don't seem to have any ex player willing enough, clued up enough and eloquent enough to fight our corner on Talk****e and 5live etc. They all talk drivel.
