Somebody playing in centre midfield could be given creative freedom, likewise a winger could have creative freedom to roam and not stay glued to the touchline.

Did The Bodge promise Cole the 'in the hole role' or did he promise Cole 'creative freedom'. If a winger plays on the wing and is given creative freedom, is he fullfilling the 'in the hole role'?

I knew you would start arguing over the definition of roles, that's why I mentioned it in an earlier post........

How the **** was it cleverly worded? The Bodge categorically stated he did not promise Cole the position off the front striker - i.e. 'the in the hole role', or are you now going to argue over the definition of the 'in the hole' role?

I have to say that I agree with Hodgson about one thing, and that is its time to start supporting the club now. I've been critical of Evans, with good reason, this past 12 months but it was highly reassuring to hear a top(?) journo from a big paper absolutely caning Hodgson. No punches pulled whatsoever.

Aldo (may God forgive me) is a bell end at times. We don't seem to have any ex player willing enough, clued up enough and eloquent enough to fight our corner on Talk****e and 5live etc. They all talk drivel.
